"PricewaterhouseCoopers" is new auditor for NIS - "Appolonia" to perform ecological analysis of production facilities

The Assembly of stockholders of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) appointed company "PricewaterhouseCoopers" as the new auditor for the 2009 annual report at the yesterday's (November 3, 2009) emergency meeting.

Also, the winner on the tender for ecological analysis of NIS's production facilities was confirmed on that occasion. Company "Appolonia" from Italy is to elaborate the study on the state of environment, which is in accordance with the obligations of "Gazpromneft" from the Contract on sale of 51% of stocks of NIS.

Russian "Gazpromneft" took over the management of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia in February 2009 after it paid 400m EUR for 51% of stocks of that company.
