Water Fair in Belgrade's Expo Center between November 3 and 5

Under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, International Water Fair 2009 will be organized in hall XXI of the Expo Center in Belgrade between November 3rd and 5th. The organizers of this manifestation are: the Water Technology and Sanitary Engineering Association, company "Belexpo", and the Plumbing and Sewerage Business Association of Serbia.
- The Water Fair will gather renowned companies and institutions that operated in the domain of water power engineering. Therefore, it is the ideal place for exchange of technologies, know-how and experiences between the manufacturers on one side and their users on the other side - it is stated in the announcement by Expo Center.
The Water Fair will run parallel to the Expert Water Conference in hall XXI of the Expo Center in Belgrade, which will gather the leading experts from the field. The participants in the meeting will discuss the current laws in the water and public utility sector. The Expert Water Conference will include the presentation of KfW Bank, GTZ German Organization for Technical Assistance, and the Local Infrastructure Credit Support Project, which will provide review of the previous engagements and insight into future investments in public utility infrastructure.
- Aware of the fact that Serbia, just like many other countries in the world, faces numerous problems in the water engineering sector, and having in mind that Serbia requires 7 billion EUR within the next 20 years to develop the water sector to the satisfying level, the Water Fair represents a response and willingness of the public subjects to use their knowledge and professional efforts to help achievement of the development goals and meeting of EU's requests related to exploitation and protection and water resources - Sanja Vučković, the CEO of the Fair, pointed out.
