No one wants property of Hidrogradnja Sarajevo worth BAM 100 million

A sale of the property of Hidrogradnja Sarajevo, a company which went into bankruptcy several years ago, was scheduled for November 14 in Sarajevo. The property was auctioned two months ago and is worth BAM 96.1 million.

However, as Zijad Fazlagic, the bankruptcy supervisor of Hidrogradnja, said, the sale fell through, as there were no bids for the purchase of the property in B&H and Libya.

– No one wants to buy the equipment as the price seems to be too high. The documentation was bought by two companies, one from Australia and one from Brcko District, but there were no bids – Fazlagic told Dnevni Avaz.

The property is located in Brijesce, Hadzici Quarry, Greben Kakanj Quarry, Sigma Sarajevo, PJ Libya, as well as all the rights in other legal entities, movable property and other rights of Hidrogradnja in bankruptcy.

All natural and legal person who paid 1% of the initial price (around BAM 900,000) as insurance were eligible, but there were no bids.

Fazlagic says that the sale of Motel Cavljak fell through last month as well and that only certain garages in Sarajevo have been sold so far.

Under this public invitation, the offer for Motel Cavljak also includes the land and the entire inventory, at an initial price of BAM 1,626,631. Motel Cavljak has 18 rooms, an area of 853 m2 and land of 822 m2.

In addition to the motel, the offer includes the property and the land in Vitkovci, worth BAM 3,856,661. However there are no interested parties for these properties either.
