Commercial contract on Fruska Gora Corridor to be signed soon

A session of the task force for the realization of the project of the construction of the Novi Sad-Ruma high-speed route (Fruska Gora Corridor) was held yesterday. The session was presided over by Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and attended by Zhang Xiaoyuan, the General Manager of the Chinese company CRBC for Serbia.

On the occasion, Mihajlovic pointed out that it was important for the investment value of the project to be determined and for the commercial contract to be prepared as soon as possible.

– I expect us to sign the commercial contract soon and to start the negotiations about the price and the manner of financing. The price needs to be reasonable and sustainable. We have great cooperation with the Chinese company CRBC and I believe that everything will be realized in line with the plan – she said.

Xiaoyuan expressed his conviction that the commercial contract would be harmonized soon and added that the company was familiar with the details and the characteristics of each of the four sections of the future Fruska Gora Corridor.

– The project-technical documentation will be ready on time. I believe that we can agree easily about the commercial contract and the price of the project and we understand the position of the Serbian side – he said.

The session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Finance, the Capital Investments Administration of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, the Public Debt Administration, the cabinet of the Prime Minister of Serbia, the PE Roads of Serbia and the PE Corridors of Serbia.
