Cooperation between "Litostroj Power" and "Vode Vojvodine" in modernization and maintenance of technology in Vojvodina-based company

Public water power engineering company "Vode Vojvodine" and Slovenian company "Litostroj Power" signed the Protocol today (October 27, 2009) on business-technical cooperation in modernization and maintenance of technology in the Vojvodina-based company.

According to the announcement, "Vode Vojvodine" has 111 pumping generators - pumps, which were produced by "Litostroj" for the needs of water power engineering, and they have been used for years for irrigation and drainage.

The pumps that are between 25 and 50 years old require an overhaul, while 70% of these pumps need general overhaul with the replacement of all vital parts, which anticipates application of new technical solutions that are applied to the pumps of later generation.

According to the Protocol, "Litostroj" should perform technical check of the state of pumping generators in the field and prepare the proposal for modernization and overhaul in accordance with the EU regulations.

The experts from "Litostroj" will also give their suggestion concerning modernization and replacement of hydraulic parts, setting of generators to the parameters that satisfy the exploitation needs, as well as replacement of parts of generators in accordance with the stipulated standards.

Slovenian company will also provide expert advising services, assistance and support to the experts of "Vode Vojvodine" in case of hydraulic and mechanical problems that may occur when the instruments are used.

"Vode Vojvodine" will be obliged to report to "Litostroj" on projected annual needs on regular basis.
