Reconstruction of road and construction of bicycle route from Novi Sad to Stara Pazova soon

The Institute of Urban Planning of Vojvodina has published the draft Spacial Plan for the special purpose area of the state road IIa, no. 100, for the purpose of the reconstruction and modernization of the road and the construction of a bicycle route on the Novi Sad – Stara Pazova section.

The length of the bicycle route along the said state road is 49.6 km, of which 42.4 km are bicycle routes, whereas 7.2 km are lanes on the highway. The bicycle route, as planned, will go up to the border with the administrative area of the City of Belgrade.

The spatial plan encompasses parts of cadaster municipalities: Petrovaradin (Novi Sad), Sremski Karlovci, Cortanovci, Beska, Maradik and Indjija, Golubinci, Stara Pazova and Nova Pazova.

The plan covers an area of around 335.55 ha.
