Mini hydroelectric power plants and gas-powered units for production of electric and heating energy – according to Spatial plan for territory of infrastructure corridor Niš – Bulgarian border

The locations for construction of mini hydroelectric power plants are defined within the Spatial plan for the territory of infrastructure corridor Niš – Bulgarian border, and in accordance with document "Registry of mini hydroelectric power plants on the territory of FR Serbia outside FAP", which was adopted in 1987.

The Plan also defines the possibility of construction of a combined gas-powered unit for production of electric and heating energy, with the capacity of up to 600 MW, for the needs of the city of Niš.
