Serbian companies agreed on 5.5m USD worth of export of food at trade fair in Koeln

- At the international food fair in Koeln, 25 Serbian companies agreed on export of food worth 5.5m USD - the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA) announced on October 23rd.

According to the announcement, the negotiations on additional 15.5m USD worth of export are in progress.

The best-selling products were frozen fruits and vegetables, ready-made salads, preserves, jams, juices, candies and confectioneries.

The organizers of the participation of Serbian companies in the trade fair are the USAID Agribusiness Project, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Waterpower Engineering of Serbia, and SIEPA.

The announcement reminds that the export contracts worth 8.5m USD were signed at the International Food Fair in Moscow and that the negotiations on export of another 16m USD worth of food are underway.

Joint appearances at trade fairs are organized under national brand "Serbia Naturally", and the exporters also completed expert trainings in sale, marketing and advanced business skills.
