Pharmaceutical company "Eli Lilly" opened branch office in Serbia

"Eli Lilly", one of the world's most influential pharmaceutical companies, has opened its branch office in Belgrade.
As it was explained at today's (October 22, 2009) press conference, "Eli Lilly" has been cooperating with local partners in Serbia for some time at the level of the offer of limited assortment of products, and the company opened the branch office because it has serious and long-term plans for our market.
- Our intention is to launch new products and to invest in education of medical staff. We have serious intentions regarding the presence in Serbia through investments and opening of the company's branch office in Belgrade - said Philippe Prufer.
Company "Eli Lilly" was founded in 1876. It has total of 40,000 employees, and the drugs of that company can be found in the markets of 143 countries.
During the last decade, "Eli Lilly" has introduced new drugs for treatment of cancer, depression, diabetes, cardiovascular complications and difficult forms of septicemia.
