"ASW Engineering" to conquer new markets - contract signed with Greek company "ILYDA" for "sms parking" system

Soon after the contract on implementation of application system "asw:temporis" was signed with Italian company ACI, Belgrade-based company "ASW Engineering" also signed the contract with Greek company "ILYDA a.e".

Company "ILYDA" got the exclusive right to sale of the application system and provision of services to end-users on the territory of Greece and Cyprus. Research of aforementioned market is underway, and the agreement has been reached with first ten municipalities on realization of the project for introduction of "SMS parking" system. The first realizations are in the pipeline for the beginning of year 2010, and they include, among the rest, implementation of the system in the municipalities of the two largest cities in Greece - Athens and Salonika.

System "asw:temporis" embodies a modern solution that enables both tracking and billing of parking through SMS. Introduction of this system, that is, time limitation and introduction of parking zones, significantly contributes to resolving of the problems of mismatch between required and available number of parking places, endangerment of pedestrian traffic, as well as flow of vehicles in jammed streets. On the other hand, this system makes the purhase of parking tickets much easier and quicker for the users, that is, the drivers.
