Construction of film village in Baranda - studio and scenery for movies and series

Actor Dragan Bjelogrlić has started construction of a film village in Baranda, and the President of the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina, Dr. Bojan Pajtić, visited the building site in that village in Vojvodina yesterday.

According to the words of Bjelogrlić, they got the idea during the shooting of "Vratiće se rode" series to expand the space where the film studio and scenery were already situated and, thus, create the film center that would make Baranda the film village.

- Construction of scenery with several houses that are typical for Vojvodina will be suitable for shooting of numerous movies and series that are set at the beginning of the last century. At the moment, the scenery is being prepared for movie "Tuđa krv", which describes chronology of life of a volksdeutscher. This scenery will stay where it is, so that it can be used for number of other shots and sets because such scenery is common in all European countries that have serious film production - said Dragan Bjelogrlić.
