"Topolino" from Kragujevac for whole Europe - new model to be smaller than "fiat 500"

- New Fiat's model "topolino" will be produced in Kragujevac - British "Auto Express" claims. According to the announcements by Minister Dinkić who did not specify what type of model would be assembled, the first automobiles should appear in the market in 2011.

It is most likely that the first models of "topolino" can be expected in 2011. The news about "topolino" has been published by numerous Croatian and Slovenian websites because the interest of their economies in production of parts for that vehicle is huge.

Two months ago one could hear that the experts from Italian "Fiat" submitted the first projects to the authorized people in Serbia. On that occasion, the Italian factory announced that it would come to the center of Šumadija accompanied by 15 large companies from that country. The value of the job was estimated at about 240m EUR. Allegedly, Italian experts suggested to the management of "Fiat" on that occasion that the factory in Kragujevac should first produce "topolino" - 240,000 automobiles per year, which should be followed by production of B-model, which was the plan before the global economic crisis.
