Prominent architects to present their work in Nis

The world's prominent architects are presenting their modern housing projects within the third international biennial show “Stanovanje – Housing 19”, until November 10, 2019, at the Pavilion at the Nis Fortress. The organizers are the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Nis and the Urban Planning Cluster.

– The jury consisting of architecture professors from eight foreign universities has picked 80 works by authors and teams of authors from 30 countries. Architectural works from the field of modern housing, made in the past two years, will be shown to the audience. Special emphasis will be placed on social housing facilities. Another important segment of this exhibit is the presentation of research dealing with modern housing – the organizers emphasize.

During the exhibit, there will be a series of lectures by the leading experts in the said field, presentations of modern materials, as well as a workshop for architecture students with the topic of the housing of migrants and refugees.

The exhibit is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Serbian Chamber of Engineers.
