EPS started preparations for opening mining pit "Radljevo"

Due to construction of Steam Power Plant "Kolubara B", the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) plans to open a new mining pit "Radljevo".

Elaboration of the preliminary project with the justification study for exploitation of coal at mining pit "Radljevo" is underway, and the job is being done by "Vattenfall Europe Mining AG" in association with the Faculty of Mining and Geology.

Radljevo is a settlement in the municipality of Ub in the Kolubara region.
