Slovenian company "Viator&Vector" has bought 5 ha of land in the industrial zone in Kragujevac, and, as "Blic" learns from reliable sources, all negotiations on construction of a new bus factory, in which about 30m EUR will be invested, have been finished.
According to the words of Nebojša Zdravković, the Deputy Mayor of Kragujevac, "Slovenian company announced employment of minimum 300 people and production of special 'hybrid' buses that are powered by gas and electricity. Between 250 and 300 such vehicles should be produced every year in the Kragujevac units of the company for the market of European Union".
The information that European Union has granted aid of 3.4m EUR to "Viator&Vector" for development of buses that meet the latest technological and ecological standards is another proof that this is going to be a very serious project.
