"The Balkans in Crisis - An Opportunity for Investments" - seminar organized by "Eurofast" and Association of Exporters of Northern Greece

The Association of the Exporters of Northern Greece (SЕVЕ), in cooperation with Eurofast Global Ltd. hosted the seminar: “The Balkans in Crisis: An Opportunity for Investments” held on September 24, 2009 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The conference was attended by over 90 businessmen and public figures from Northern Greece, among them the Prefect of Thessaloniki – Mr. Panagiotis Psomiadis, the Deputy Prefect – Mr. Georgios Tsamaslis, the Economic Counselor of the Consulate of Romania Mr. Alin Ungur.

The participants were presented with the opportunities which arised in the Balkans by the current financial crisis. Strategies of structuring and restructuring of investments in the Region were presented, mergers and acquisitions opportunities, as well as refinancing and international tax planning focusing on the advantages of investing through Cyprus. The presentation focused on Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and FYROM.
