Sombor and "Vojvodinašume" to implement joint projects for environment protection and development of economy

Dušan Jović, the Mayor of Sombor, and Marta Takač, the CEO of public company "Vojvodinašume", have signed the contract on cooperation, which implies their joint appearance, primarily before European pre-accession development funds.

City of Sombor and "Vojvodinašume" will apply for IPA funds with three projects, two of which are environment protection projects, while the third concerns improvement of the economy in the region of Sombor.

All three projects are in connection with the treatment of nature reserve "Gornje Podunavlje", which is managed by "Vojvodinašume", and they should be implemented through partnership with the application subjects from Croatia.
