University of Singidunum harshly condemned spreading of false information on sale of that faculty

At its meeting on September 30th, 2009, the Council of the University of Singidunum harshly condemned spreading of false information on alleged sale of a part or whole University, as well as the possibility of existence of any kind of negotiations on sale of part or whole University of Singidunum.

The University of Singidunum was founded in 2005 as an integrated University. The members of the University of Singidunum are five faculties, and all of them are accredited in accordance with the new Law on High Education. Founders and owners of the University are included in the public registry of the Court of Commerce in Belgrade.

The Faculty of Information Systems is not a member of the University of Singidunum.

"Neither the University of Singidunum, nor any other faculty from the structure of the University, have negotiated with anybody or announced in any way the possibility of sale of either part or whole University, which is, actually, the only private University in Serbia that has received the accreditation in accordance with the new Law on High Education and establishes successful international relations with similar institutions in the region and the world", it is stated in the University's announcement.
