Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement signed between Serbia and Qatar

- The representatives of the governments of Serbia and Qatar signed the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement on October 2nd, 2009 - the Ministry of Finance announced.

The Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) was signed by the State Secretary within the Ministry of Finance of Serbia, Miodrag Đidić, and the CEO of the Directorate for Public Taxes of Qatar, Moftah Jasim Al Moftah.

They estimated that the Agreement would improve both economic and financial cooperation between Serbia and Qatar because it would eliminate double taxation of citizens and companies.

The Agreement will stimulate Serbia's investments in Qatar and Qatar's investments in Serbia.
