The winery of Momcilo Trisic has opened in Vranic, a village not far from Belgrade. This small, but already world-renowned winery won the silver medal for its DiMASiD 2013 wine at Decanter last summer, winning 94 points.

The ratio of the varieties used in this wine is nearly identical to those in Trisic’s vineyard: 75% Cabernet, 20% Merlot, and the rest is Cabernet Franc.

The winery consist of a tasting room, a porch in an ethno architectural style, auxiliary buildings and details such as taps shaped as wine barrels.

The cascading vineyards surround the winery. There’s also a small, but very tall, forest, a symbol of tradition. The new Pantelija red wine is accordingly dedicated to an ancestor born in the 19th century.

– The vineyards date back to 2008, and the winery dates back to 2012. The auxiliary building for guests was built in 2017. Today, we are finally completing this. The vineyard, which is dominated by Cabernet over Chardonnay, takes up around two hectares today. Along with the said Chardonnay, we’ve also tried the Rhine Riesling. The capacity of the cellar is 30,000 liters, and the maximum production is around 10,000 bottles – Trisic says.
