The first cases of bird flu in Romania

The first cases have been discovered near the mouth of the Danube. Three ducks in Romanian village of Cenurlija de Žos were first discovered birds ill with this flu, but it was not determined whether it was deathly virus H5N1. Romanian Minister of Agriculture pointed out that he would introduce quarantine on area of 3 square kilometers around the place where infected animals were found. Hunting is also forbidden on that area.
