Italian "A2A" registered as owner of 43.7% of stocks of EPCG

Italian company A2A was registered on September 30th as the owner of 43.7% of stocks of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG).

Agency "Escrow" has transferred the whole amount of money for the stocks of the state, minor stockholders and newly issued stocks in the additional capitalization process.

In that way, the transaction has been successfully completed in accordance with the regulations from the contract on sale of share of stocks and additional capitalization of EPCG, which was signed between the representatives of the Government of Serbia and A2A on September 3rd.

A2A paid total of 293.48m EUR for 11.5m state-owned stocks, the same number of newly issued stocks, and 12m stocks of minor stockholders, and that money was forwarded by Prva Banka to the accounts of the owners.

The state-owned stocks and the stocks of minor stockholders cost A2A 8.4 EUR per stock.

Nominal value of stocks of EPCK is 8.7 EUR.

A2A earlier bought about 18% of stocks of EPCG from the privatization funds at the prices of 7.1 and 7.85 EUR.
