The Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Waterpower Engineering of Republic of Croatia and the Delegation of European Commission, in association with the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Serbia, have announced a public invitation for allotment of non-refundable grants for the draft projects that promote cross-border cooperation between Croatia and Serbia.

The aim of every draft project should be one of the following: improvement of business cooperation, growth of cross-border exchange of goods, development of labor mobility, cross-border research, development and innovations (RDI), and joint economic planning.

The IPA funds will also be granted for development of the tourism based on cross-border regional identity and natural and cultural goods of the cross-border region, supervision of natural goods of the cross-border region through participation in joint activities and raising of public awareness, as well as improvement of good neighbor relations between local communities on both sides of the border.

Complete manual for all those interested and the Application package can be downloaded from website www.croatia-serbia.com, and the final deadline for submission of draft projects is October 16, 2009.
