Italian entrepreneurs are coming to Serbia - talks about further cooperation and investment opportunities

- Representatives of about 100 Italian companies are coming tomorrow (September 24, 2009) to Serbia. During their two-day stay, they will speak to Serbian entrepreneurs about continuation of cooperation and investment opportunities in Serbia - Italian agency "Ansa" announced.

The delegation of entrepreneurs will be led by Adolfo Urso, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Italy.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Economic Development, Italian entrepreneurs will speak about further cooperation with Serbian enterprises, especially in field of energy, infrastructure and agriculture. They will also talk about continuation of cooperation in automotive industry following the signing of the contract between "Fiat" and Kragujevac-based "Zastava".

Italian entrepreneurs will pay a visit to Industrial-technology park in Vršac on Friday, where they will talk about investment opportunities.

Industrial-technology park in Vršac, which was built from EU's donations, occupies 27 ha of municipal land in the location between the international railway and main route Belgrade-Timisoara.

The Ambassador of Italy to Serbia, Armando Varricchio, spoke this month to Serbian Minister of Infrastructure, Milutin Mrkonjić, about construction of Belgrade-Vršac-Timisoara highway, which will connect Corridor 10 and Corridor 4.
