The Monetary Board of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) made the decision today (September 23, 2009) to keep the referential interest rate at 12%.
According to the announcement, the next meeting of the Monetary Board of NBS will be held on October 8, 2009.
The referential interest rate of NBS is at the level of 12% since July 10th when it was lowered by 1%.
NBS uses interest rate on two-week repo operations as the referential interest rate. In repo operations NBS sells securities with the obligation to buy them back with the interest after certain period of time.Companies:
