Miroljub Zaric’s mandate as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Albania has been revoked, as announced in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

Zaric was appointed ambassador by the Decree of President Boris Tadic of July 27, 2010.

This made Zaric the first ambassador of Serbia in Tirana, where he had led the diplomatic mission of Serbia from 2006 as the charge d’affaires.

Belgrade and Tirana re-established diplomatic relation in 2001 after the NATO bombing in 1999.
