Traditional southern flavors on August 10 in Vranjska Banja

On Saturday, August 10, the first “Traditional Southern Flavors – Vranjska Banja 2019” event will take place in Vranjska Banja, at the Clock Tower. The event will involve the preparation of an oxtail dish, and individuals and teams will compete in preparing this specific traditional dish for one of the three prizes.

In addition to this specialty, the event will also feature experienced cooks which will be preparing samsa and other types of savory pastry from the Vranje area, the Tourism Organization of Serbia says on its website.

The program begins at 2 pm, and the winner will be pronounced at 6 pm. This will be followed by the music part of the program and the tasting of the prepared dishes.

The event is organized by the Tourism Organization of Vranje.
