Portuguese company "Eneolica" interested in opening steam power plant in Boljevac

Portuguese company "Eneolica" has expressed interest in opening a steam power plant in Boljevac, which would be using wooden waste as fuel, and construction of that unit is expected to start soon.

- We have decided for Boljevac because its surroundings are rich with forests - said Agostino Ribeira, the President of company "Eneolica".

- In addition to being completely safe for environment, construction of such unit is also very important for forests because it contributed to their regeneration. Our company is also interested in building mini hydroelectric power plants and wind generators - he announced.
