EKAPIJA ON IMPROVED NETWORK – WE APOLOGIZE FOR PROBLEMS WE HAD LAST FEW DAYS

You have probably noticed that we had two pauses of few hours each in the work of our servers in the last few days. These were caused by Vis Major – power failures in eKapija data center in Novi Beograd. This problem manifested at clients as impossibility of news reading or eKapija data base browsing. Although we did everything we could to prevent this situation, Power Supply Copany had to carry out overhaul in the days of transfer of our system to the new network. The situation was inevitable.

In order to avoid such problems in the future and provide quality, non-stop service to our clients, we signed the contract with Eunet and our services will be transferred to Eunet’s data center next week. Eunet’s data center has complete protection from the power failures, because it uses independent, completely automated generators. Aslo, the additional bonus for our clients, as the result of this transfer, will be faster access, because the access to internet, from now on, will be realized through Eunet’s center. You will notice that the speed of news loading and data base browsing will be significanlty bigger.
