"BK Group" wants to cooperate with regional companies in 25.5 billion EUR worth of works in Russia and Belarus

The consortium of companies led by "BK Group" plans to commence construction of 25.5 billion EUR worth of facilities in Russia and Belarus in 2010, and the companies from the region will be able to participate in the projects as contractors or co-investors.
That was announced yesterday (September 15, 2009) by Tihomir Simić, a representative of "BK GRoup", which is owned by businessman Bogoljub Karić, on the second day of the 4th international conference of the government representatives and businessmen in Sarajevo.
- We expect a consortium of companies from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and England to be formed by the end of the year, while the works will commence already at the beginning of the next year. We will try to hire building companies from southeast Europe that has quality and interest in participation in such projects, as well as supporting building industry - Simić pointed out.
He said that the projects would be implemented in Minsk, and one of the project would be construction of 42-floor building where national library, shopping centers and office space will be situated. Simić claims that Aleksandar Lukašenko, the President of Belarus, has given consent for this and several other projects in the capital city of that country.
The project in Russia is worth 12 billion EUR, and it anticipates construction of a multifunctional complex.
- We offer everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina who sees these projects as the chance not only to participate in the works, but also to become our partner and co-investor - Simić pointed out.
