Preparations commenced for founding regional dialysis center in Stara Pazova

When Health Center "Dr Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" in Stara Pazova obtained new machines for dialysis from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and an Italian non-government organization, the preparations commenced for forming regional dialysis center in this part of Srem, which has much problem with kidney diseases.

- Both preliminary and main project have been done, and the works have commenced recently. The investor is the municipality of Stara Pazova, the contractor is "Graditelj plus" from Ruma, and, according to the contract, complete adaptation of the facility in Dositejeva Street should be finished by the end of October. It is classical dialysis, but that center should grow into the regional dialysis center of Srem where three physicians and 12 nurses, in two shifts, would satisfy the needs of municipalities of Stara Pazova, Inđija and Pećinci - says Dr. Milana Vunjak, the Director of the Health Center.
