Reconstruction of 12 bridges between B&H and Serbia planned – Works worth EUR 6.6 million

The draft agreement between the Council of Ministers of B&H and the Government of Serbia about the maintenance and reconstruction of road bridges between the two states was the topic of the conversation held this Thursday between the deputy minister of communications and transport of B&H, Sasa Dalipagic, and the ambassador of Serbia to B&H, Aleksandar Djordjevic.

– The draft agreement pertains to 12 bridges between B&H and Serbia, seven of which will be reconstructed by Serbia, whereas five will be reconstructed by B&H. The total value of the works is EUR 6.6 million, of which EUR 2.15 million is the amount to be shouldered by B&H. This agreement is very important, as it will secure the reconstruction of bridges and directly increase the safety of the traffic on them – the Ministry of Communications and Transport of B&H announced.

– At the next session of the Council of Ministers, the draft agreement is expected to be adopted, which would initiate further procedures toward its realization.
