Company "Slobodna zona" formed within company "Fiat automobili Srbija"

Company "Slobodna zona Fiat automobili Srbija" has been formed in Kragujevac, and it is going to operate as a company with limited liability. Kragujevac's duty free zone has already been included in the records of the Business Register Agency. Giovani de Filipis, the General Manager of company "Fiat automobili Srbija", has been appointed as the CEO of the new company.

"Slobodna zona" in Kragujevac is situated on the grounds and in the units of Zastava's automobile factory, and it will be expanded in the second development phase to the industrial zone in Korman field where 14 factories and units of Italian companies that produce parts for "Fiat" automobiles will be built.

The adviser in the Ministry of Economy, Aleksandar Ljubić, told "Danas" that the forming of "Slobodna zona" was one of the obligations from the contract between the Government of Serbia and "Fiat". He points out that we can soon expect the business plan of company "Fiat automobili Srbija" with all the information on the type of the new model that will be assembled in Kragujevac.
