Ninth attempt at selling Sava shipyard falls through

There were no interested purchasers at the ninth attempt at the sale of Brodogradiliste Sava in bankruptcy from Macvanska Mitrovica, the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency announced.

The sale, organized by the Center for Bankruptcy Proceedings at the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency, was scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2019.

As no one had paid the deposit or provided the banking guarantee for the purchase of the bankruptcy debtor as a legal entity, the bankruptcy supervisor pronounced the sale unsuccessful.

This company, which used to have 250 production employees, has been up for sale since 2011. The previous sale attempt was made in mid-May 2019.
