Guča to obtain Trumpet Museum by end of 2009

Reconstruction of the old facility of "Sloga" for the needs of the Trumpet Museum and Ethnographic Museum in Lučani is expected to be done by the end of year 2009.

- Reconstruction of the facade, replacement of carpentry, adaptation of interior, that is, replacement of parquet floor, works on electric installations, whitewashing, and other works, are in the pipeline – Adam Tadić, the Director of the Center for Culture, Sport and Tourism of the municipality of Lučani "Dragačevo" Guča told "eKapija" and added that the municipality of Lučani had invested 5m RSD in reconstruction.

The project was elaborated by studio "Bommis" from Gornji Milanovac, while the open competition for selection of contractor for the works on reconstruction of the building of "Sloga" will last prior to the beginning of October.

According to some earlier announcements, the Trumpet Museum, where all previous "lead trumpets" of Guča will be exhibited, as well as photos and biographies of all winners and historical development of that instrument, should be opened before the next jubilee 50th Trumpet Fair in Guča.
