"Intel" presented "Core i7", "Xeon 3400" and first "Core i5" processors

"Intel Corporation" presented several high-performance desktop and server processors today (September 8th, 2009), thus introducing higher level of integration and intelligence for computers. The new series of "Intel Core i5" processors, two new "Intel Core i7" processors, and the series of "Intel Xeon 3400" processors, represent "Intel's" latest "Nehalem" micro-architecture for mainstream desktop markets.
Bearing codename "Lynnfield", the new chips are based on "Intel Nehalem" micro-architecture, and they are designed for the users who require the highest performances for digital media, productivity, playing games and other demanding applications. These processors, along with new "Intel P55" express chipset, can be found in the stores starting today.
It is stated in the announcement that none of the models contains lead and halogen elements, and that they all have "Intel exclusive Turbo Boost" technology. Top-quality "Core i7" processors also support "Intel Hyper-Threading" technology. When combined, these characteristics provide absolutely "intelligent" performances when necessary, as well as optimal energy efficiency when computer is not preoccupied.
