The Turkish company Feka Automotive should begin raising a factory in the industrial zone in Cuprija over the next ten days, announced the president of the municipality of Cuprija, Ninoslav Eric.

– Feka Automotive has obtained the building permit and started carrying out some preparatory works, so we expect the foundation stone to be laid down in around ten days. The investor expects to complete the construction of the factory by the end of 2019 or in early 2020 – Eric said.

As it was said during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, under which four hectares of land in the industrial zone in Cuprija were given to the Turkish corporation to raise a factory on, in October 2018, the investment is worth EUR 15 million, and 110 workers will be employed at the factory initially.

Feka Automotive is a family company which has been producing components for the automotive industry for 30 years, primarily light signalization, car interior lights, rear view mirrors and water reservoirs.

Eric also announced that he expected the company Gomex to start building a hall for a distribution center in the industrial zone about two months later.
