Exit Festival at Petrovaradin Fortress from July 4 to 7

The multiple-award-winning international summer music festival Exit is held each year at the Petrovaradin Fortress, which is considered one of the best festival locations on the planet. Over 700 artists perform there on more than 40 stages and music zones.

This year's festival takes place from July 4 to 7, the Tourism Organization of Serbia announces.

In 2013 and 2018 Exit won the Best European Festival titles at the European Festival Awards. All important media have reported about Exit, and recognition has been given by CNN, BBC, Time, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Sun, Daily Mail, The Independent, Euronews and Lonely Planet.

Over the years, Exit has hosted music stars such as Pet Shop Boys, Billy Idol, Guns 'N' Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Faithless, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Sex Pistols, Kraftwerk, Korn, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Jamiroquai, M.I.A., Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Carl Cox and many others.

Exit Freedom 2018 was a global call for freedom from materialism, stereotypes and collective misconceptions, which gathered over 355,000 people in five countries.

The next step in Exit's mission is Exit Tribe 2019, where music fans, influential individuals from all over the world, artists, athletes, public personalities, numerous movements and organizations will be invited to unite with a clear goal – protect the planet and all its life forms.
