"Zorka Pharma" to leave stock exchange

- Company "Hemofarm", the owner of company "Zorka Pharma", has decided to withdraw Šabac-based manufacturer of chemicals from the stock exchange - broker company "Sinteza Invest group" announced. At the special Assembly of stockholders, which was held last week, the decision was made that "Zorka Pharma" should change its legal form from stockholding company to a company with limited liability. In the second half of May, "Hemofarm" was forced to purchase the stocks from minor stockholders at the price of 1,385 RSD.

The stocks of the Šabac-based company are present on the stock exchange since May 24, 2004. The highest price of stocks was reached on March 30, 2007, when the stock of that company cost 2,400 RSD, while the lowest price ever was registered on July 20, 2004, when it was worth only 328 RSD.

Both indices of the Belgrade Stock Exchange registered growth today. "Belex15", the index of the most liquid securities, rose by 0.33%, reaching 713.15 points, while the general index, Belexline, mildly grow by 0.04%, at 1,355.42 points.

The value of 330 transactions on the Belgrade Stock Exchange amounted to 92.1m RSD, that is, 991,001 EUR, 54.42m RSD of which was invested in stocks and 37.68m RSD was invested in bonds.
