Parliament of Serbia ratified three international finance contracts - realization of credit arrangements and loans made possible

The Parliament of Serbia ratified three international finance contracts last night (August 31, 2009), which enable realization of credit arrangements and loans.

The Parliament ratified finance contract "Apex loan for small and mid-sized enterprises" signed between Serbia, European Investment Bank, and the National Bank of Serbia. This contract anticipates granting of 250m EUR worth of loan to Serbia.

The Agreement on loan (additional financing of health care projects), which was signed between Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, was also adopted. This agreement anticipates approval of additional loan of 10.5m EUR to Serbia.

The representatives in the Parliament also ratified the Agreement on Serbia's indebtment with Alpha Bank, Vojvođanska banka and Piraeus Bank, for the needs of collecting financial means required for financing budget deficit of 90m EUR.
