Establishment of family most limiting factor in women career development in Serbia

According to women manager, the main limiting factor for career development is the decision on establishing a family, ie. family obligations that require additional time and energy that women must align with their business obligations during each day. Those are the results of a research done by consulting firm, "Stanton Chase International.
Many women believe that they are less competitive than men of the same title and educational background. They agree that for the proper fulfillment of business obligations, regular professional development and care of the family, mostly they are missing more free time. But a lot of women underline the inadequacy of services for child care (opening hours of kindergartens, schools, transportation to extracurricular activities, etc.. ), stands inthe conclusion of the research.
The next hurdle is the Serbian traditional society that is not completely accepted the role of women as professionals and in which it is still present gender and age discrimination as an aggravating factor in building of career.
On the other hand, when it comes to professional advancement within the expertise advancement, women consider that educational programs do not follow the changes in the business.
