The statistics of the World Economic Forum in the past eight years show that, when it comes to the quality of the road network, Serbia is the second worst ranked country in the region, after Bosnia and Herzegovina, Danas reports.

The latest survey, done for 2018, shows that Serbia cannot move from the second-to-last position since 2010, the daily writes.

The data show that, of all the countries in the region, Croatia has the best roads. The country placed 19th of the total of 137 surveyed countries, with a 5.5 rating. Slovenia is 51st with 4.4, Montenegro is 88th with 3.5, Serbia is 100th with 3.2 and B&H is 109th with a rating of 3.
