"Bio brick" opened a new factory in Titel - 37 millions RSD invested in construction

"Bio Brik" company has opened today (August, 27th, 2009) in Titel, a new factory for manufacture of briquettes by newest technologies, in which it invested about 37 millions RSD.

As it stands in the announcement of Vojvodina's Secretariat for Information, the plant is equipped with a modern drier for reed and sawdust, briquettes and pellets, for which Vojvodina Executive Council gave 12,3 millions RSD.

Around 7.000 tones of briquettes and pellets will be produced in the new plant, which is 3% of entire grown soya used for making of these products.

The production program of Titel based factory is mostly exported to Italy.

Executive Council President, Bojan Pajtic, said that this was the first industrial plant in Titel, built within the program for openning of new technologies plants, and the significance of this factory for the Province is that it would directly employ 22 people and indirectly another 220 of workers.

- We are planning to employ 30.000 people more throughthe program of new technologies and various programs of Vojvodina's Executive Council for employment of trainees, self-employment and openning of new job positions, said Mr. Pajtic.

Provincial Secretary for science and technological development, Dragoslav Petrovic, said that "Bio brik" factory was 11th plant in Vojvodina, whose opening was supported by the Province Government, and which is based on energetic efficiency and renewable sources of energy.

The new technology in Titel factory used a production cycle with less ashes, without release of sulphur and emission of damaging gases.

"Bio Brik" is 58th plant in Vojvodina, which was opened through new technologies program since 2006, which helped employ 17.000 people.
