Military equipment and armory to Iraq worth 100 millions USD - job opportunity for all 6 Serbian factories

Ministries of defense of Serbia and Iraq signed a contract about export of Serbian armory and military equipment worth more than 100 millions USD, as it was announced today (August, 27th, 2009) by the Serbian Minister of defense, Dragan Sutanovac.

At Batajnica airport, Mr. Sutanovac addressed the journalists that this contract would engage all six Serbian companies of military industry and technical-remounting bureaus, which will export armory and military equipment during the next year.

According to his words, this job will employ more than 6.000 people.

- Negotiations about cooperation are continued not only with Iraq but with other countries as well, Mr. Sutanovac also added.
