New “Calzedonia” plant located Sombor by May, 2010

The factory of exclusive women lingerie, “Fiorano”, in Sombor, is building a new plant in the entire complex of 12.00 square meters, in the value of 15 millions euros. The factory now has 130 workers, mostly women. There is no feeling of a crisis, and another 250 workers will be hired in the new plant.

The construction works are a little bit delayed for legal-property matters, but with engagement of the local management the problem has been solved.

The new production hall will be built by May, 2010, as expected.

If used with full capacity, the new plant could hire 400 workers.

“Fiorino” is a daughter company of the Italian based “Calzedonia” company.
