Tender for sale of Vojvođanska banka announced

Agency for Deposit Insurance announced tender for sale of Vojvođanska banka from Novi Sad. Not less than 99% of the capital of that bank, which is property of the State, will be offered for sale. Only the buyers who have experience with banking retail services in, at least, one European country outside their mother market, total assets of not less than 10 billion EUR in 2004 and good credit rating can take part in the tender. The deadline for delivery of offers for procurement of Vojvođanska banka is November 7, 2005.

Total assets of Vojvođanska banka in 2004 amounted to €463.5m. That bank has 175 offices in Serbia and 680,000 clients, 620,000 of which are citizens and 60,000 are companies. Financial advisor in the privatization of Vojvođanska banka is Nomura internacional from London.
