Sasa Pavlov named the new Manager of "Petrohemija"

Pancevo based "Petrohemija" Management Board named today (August, 20th, 2009) Sasa Pavlov for the new Executive Manager of the factory.

As it stands in the announcement, Mr. Pavlov, who was C.E.O.'s councelor for special affairs and Deputy President of the Management Board, was brought to his new function, after former C.E.O., Slobodan Adzic resigned.

This represents the conclusion of the arrangement set on the meeting between three representatives of "Petrohemija" Union with Vice President of the Government of Serbia and the Minister of economy, Mladjan Dinkic, on August, 13th.

At this meeting, participants made a plan for the fresh start of production in "Petrohemija" and they named the new management, according the announcement.

Management Board submitted to the Government of Serbia a set of measures necessary for the start of production, which will realize plans made with "Petrol Industry of Serbia" (NIS) and "Lukoil" about reprogramming of debts and delivery of material.

The measures also include a social program for resolving excess employees in "Petrohemija" and renewal of production during September.
