"Galenika" packs "tamiflu" - medicine against flu to reach Serbian market faster than before

- Company "Roche" will entrust final packing of medicine "tamiflu" to stock company "Galenika" in order for this drug against new flu to reach the market of Serbia on time - "Roche" announced.
People in the company say that they did everything to enlarge production of this antivirus medicine, which is also known under its generic name "oseltamivir".
By analyzing previous pandemics, the World Health Organization concluded that the first and the most important step in the fight against potentially dangerous consequences of pandemic was country's readiness to quickly react in case of appearance of large number of ill people in short time.
In addition to greater engagement in deceleration of the virus' spreading, it is necessary that the country provides sufficient quantity of antivirus drugs. People in the Ministry of Health of Serbia expect that the current reserves, which are big enough for 1% of population, will be tripled by the end of the summer. In addition to "tamiflu", procurement of drug "relenca" is also in the pipeline.
