DINKIĆ: Production in "Petrohemija" starts in mid-September

- Production in Pančevo-based "Petrohemija" will start in mid-September - Mlađan Dinkić, the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Economy, announced today (August 13, 2009).

- The Government of Serbia will make the decision next week to enable reprogramming of the debt of "Petrohemija" to "Lukoil" and "Petroleum Industry of Serbia", as well as signing of the new contracts on procurement of raw gasoline at lower prices - he said to the press.

Dinkić said that "Petrohemija" should cut expenses and lay off 500 workers, while new systematization of jobs should be made prior to August 31st.

The Minister of Economy announced that the new Director General of "Petrohemija" would be appointed on Monday, August 17th.
