The Moroccan Ambassador to Serbia, Mohammed Amine Belhaj, said that they wanted to incite as many tourists from Serbia as possible to visit Morocco and that the introduction of this air line was very important for their country, B92 reports.
The cooperation agreement in the air transport sector signed between Morocco and Serbia is the perfect illustration of the strong intention to connect the two countries. Low cost airline Air Arabia Maroc might be the first to introduce flights to the Serbian capital, the EX-YU Aviation News portal writes.
The Mayor of the Black Sea resort city of Sochi in Russia has also initiated the introduction of flights to Belgrade. A Russian carrier recently received permits from the country's federal aviation authority Rosaviatsia to launch flights from Sochi to Belgrade.
The Lviv Regional State Administration in Ukraine has also said it is working on establishing flights to Belgrade, as Serbian tourists have shown great interest in traveling around Ukraine. Air Serbia, B92 reports, will introduce flights to Kiev next week.
